Board of Directors - First Meeting
On the 21st March the first Board meeting was held by the newly elected Board of Directors.
The Board, in conjunction with staff of Casa Sperantei, chose a new name for the Centre:
Scînteia ('Sparkle')
The Board also agreed to reduce the number of members to nine. The Chairperson is Malai Galina, a secondary school teacher from Cosnita.
Board of Directors - Second Meeting
The Board met on 15th April to get an update on the construction from Galina Codreanu, Casa Sperantei Director.
They also discussed possible mottos and logos for the centre and will finalise at the next meeting.
The use of each room at the Centre was discussed a a list drawn up of furniture and equipment needed.
Construction Update
The final architects plan for the Centre can be downloaded here.
Construction is progressing well and the Centre foundations are completed. External walls and the roof will be complete by end of May.
