Moldova Vision is an Irish not-for-profit organisation that supports the development of community based services in Moldova, with a special interest in reducing the number of people in institutions. We are delighted to be able to update you on news and developments within the organisation over the last two months.

Updates from Cosnita Community Centre

The first large scale project that MV is funding is a new community centre in Cosnita, which will offer services for children with disabilities, young people and older people from the area. Bi-lingual Website

We are delighted to inform you that the Moldova Vision website www.moldovavision.org is now available in English and Romanian. This was a difficult and time-consuming job and we want to say a huge thank you to our Communications Officer, Elena Covalciuc, who undertook the task. Multumesc foarte mult Lena!

New Fundraising Page Moldova Vision has created a new fundraising page at www.givemeaning.com/project/moldova. This is a philantropic website based in Canada that allows supporters to donate online with Visa or Mastercard. All funds collected are then sent on to us with no comission or charges! This is a fun way to promote project based fundraising - you can check in and see how much is raised. At the moment we are aiming to raise $5,400 dollars before September - which is the total fo the annual salaries of three specialist disability staff; a physiotherapist, psychologist and speech therapist for the new Centre at Cosnita.

MV is currently fundraising for the Cosnita Centre. Funds for construction have been secured but more needs to be raised to cover the running costs of the Centre. Every little helps!
