Moldova Vision supports community groups and NGOs
Moldova Vision is not a social service provider – we believe that local and community groups know best how to tackle social problems in their own area. Instead, we aim to provide local organisations with additional skills and resources to help them raise the quality and impact of their services.
Research shows that community groups in Moldova – particularly in rural areas - are severely under-resourced and in need of support if they are to offer professional and sustainable services.
We offer 4 key services:
- Information and Resources
- Professional governance training
- Targeted funding support
- Volunteer facilitation
What we do supports Moldovan Government policy to move from residential institutional care to community based services.
In addition, we aim to strengthen relations between Ireland and Moldova and promote a better understanding in Ireland of Moldova and the challenges it faces.
